Dear Pre-Paid Legal,

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Twice now I have had to contact Kroll due to an identity theft problem. On both occasions I was fortunate to speak with [the same gentleman]. He has been such a comfort to me. He has emailed me some information so we can get the ball rolling faster.

About four months ago I subscribed to Pre-Paid Legal Services, thinking that maybe someday I would need some legal advice, well on 3/04/04 I called them due to the DMV denying my license renewal that expired on 10/24/03, because my social security card had my maiden name on it and on my license was my married name. The DMV informed me to contact the S.S.A to do the changes in order for me to obtain my license, which I had been trying to do since October 2003! Five months! I was so mad and frustrated because I was having problems with S.S.A due to (the fact that) they keep on giving me excuses like, our system is not accepting your information, keep calling we are still investigating.

When I called the firm they referred me to a lawyer, I never realized that they were so courteous. The lawyer made me feel comfortable and he suggested that he could send a demand letter to the S.S.A, and I instructed him to proceed. His letter accomplished its purpose and I received my license three weeks later. I want to express my sincere appreciation to your firm and the lawyer in particular for the prompt and professional manner in which my small claim was handled. ~ A very happy member E. I am purchasing property in Missouri, so of course I went through [the Law Firm] in California at about 9:30 this morning.
